Decorative Mouldings and Corbels

Pre-cast mouldings (cement) are used in many higher end projects. Not only are they elegant, but they stand the test of time with its high durability.

They’re versatile and suited for many applications. If time and budget allow, pre-cast mouldings are a great option.The drawbacks of pre-cast include long delivery times since a Mould is required and production capability is limited. And finally, when it comes to installation, more labour and special equipment is needed strictly because of how heavy each individual profile weighs.

Architectural external mouldings are just as important to the exterior of buildings as to the interior, from the simplest sand & cement moulding architrave to the grandest entablature.

We create exterior mouldings using techniques similar to our fibrous plaster mouldings, but with slight alterations to allow for altered casting and demoulding. However, not all items are suitable for pre casting and we like to run these sections in-situ with specialist methods to create the mouldings directly.

Corbels
